Bupbas are environmentally- and animal-friendly soft-soled foot fashions for babies, toddlers, and tykes. They are hand made from reclaimed denim by a work-at-home Canadian family. We re-use parts of old jeans that would otherwise go to waste and end up in landfill sites.
Each pair of Bupbas is hand crafted by Ril, and comes with your choice of one of our unique embroidery designs, designed by John, on the toes. Our embroidery is done in high-quality, durable Robison-Anton thread for maximum wear. The soles of our shoes are treated with our special Invisi-Grip coating to improve traction on slippery surfaces like tile flooring.
Research shows that soft-soled shoes are best for the proper development of young feet. Bupbas hip designs allow a child’s feet to develop naturally - with style!

We are a family just like yours. There are daily chores,homeschooling, and playing going on on a regular basis. We are not a large corperation. So, that means when you order a pair of Bupbas Shoes, we make them especially for you, and you are in return helping us feed our family and pay our mortgage. We believe in the personal touch, so you will have contact with me... Ril, not an order desk, or customer service agent who doesn't actually ever see your shoes.
The great thing about today's technology is that while giving the personal touch to every sale, technology allows us to be more environmentally friendly, and faster in turn around on orders. We pride ourselves in our service to you. We live close to a post office, so they can be mailed off to you fast, and we save on gas getting them off to you, and we use minimal paper, and do a lot of our communications on the web via email, facebook and twitter. We also use a green powered server host for our site.
For Canadian Orders the simplest and easiest form of payment is Email Money transfer.E-money transfer is a payment you can make via your web banking to us right from your computer. All Large Canadian Banks ( TD, CIBC, ScotiaBank, RoyalBank) offer Email Money Transfers to the other large banks. Of Course we also accept money orders, or certified cheques via Snail Mail orders as well.

We do not have paypal, nor will we ever use paypal. We realize that people find paypal convenient but we have been ripped off by Paypal in the past. Though it was an "insignificant" amount of money, we prefer not to deal with Paypal because we have read too many horror stories of small home business owners being ripped off by paypal through freezing their accounts and basically never lifting the freeze.
For USA and International orders, we accept postal money orders, and certified cheques in the mail. If you are in a hurry to get your Bupbas Shoes, we will gladly work with you through a money transferring service like Western Union, but their fees to you as a sender of funds can be high.
